Safety brakes

ROBA-stop®-safety brakes are CSA certified and UL-conform. This means that they are approved and licensed almost all over the world. ROBA-stop-M brakes can also be used in areas where there is a danger of explosion according to the 94/9/EC (ATEX) directive. Tell us your requirements! Our dust and water resistant monoblock brake, the ROBA-stop-S, holds the Germanic Lloyd certificate and the "Certificate of Design Assessment" from the ABS Technical Office for application in ships, off-shore plants, sea harbours or other areas with critical ambient conditions.

Torque limiting clutches

In contrast to other products, torque limiting clutches require no licenses, certificates or type examinations worldwide. The EAS brand stands for reliability, precision and quality in this product area. These characteristics have made mayr power transmission the global market leader in torque limiting clutches. We set the standards for reliable overload protection. EAS torque limiting clutches are produced at our certified plant in the Allgäu region, where many other safety-critical products are manufactured, and where the highest standard of quality is obligatory. Our demands on quality are unique. We inspect every single EAS product before it is delivered in detail on special test stands, and keep a protocol of the results together with the serial number. Our development and field experience pays off for you. Many millions of EAS torque limiting clutches have prevented overload damage for more than 50 years.
