It’s High Time for Increased Safety: Page 4

Brake module with plug-in shaft coupling: the brake modules were designed for application-specific mounting situations. According to the respective conditions, these brakes can be directly mounted onto an available friction flange or delivered with the mounting flanges adapted especially for the application.

The single circuit brake with a bearing-mounted clamping hub can be integrated directly or retrofitted without any additional construction effort into existing drives. The output-side brake flange connection dimensions and the shaft dimensions accord with the servomotor connection dimensions. Transverse forces can be adsorbed by the ball bearing mounted brake shaft. This allows belt wheels to be mounted for easy application in belt-driven drive systems.

The single circuit brake with integrated plug-in shaft coupling is especially conceived for direct mounting onto ball screw spindles. The shaft coupling from the construction series ROBA -ES which is integrated into the brake housing
compensates for axial, radial and angular shaft misalignment. This variant makes separate coupling lanterns and shaft couplings superfluous.

The redundant dual circuit brake with bearing-mounted drive shaft is equipped with two brake circuits which function independently of each other. Each brake circuit is individually electrically controllable. In accordance with the single circuit brake system, each brake circuit is separately queried and signalled.

The single circuit brake module was designed for special single circuit brake module customer-specific mounting situations. According to the respective conditions, these brakes can be mounted directly onto a friction flange already installed on the system, or can be delivered with a mounting flange adapted to the application. The brake module can be adapted precisely to available constellations.
