Seawater-resistant safety brake

The proven seawater-resistant safety brake ROBA-stop® S is now available in the new construction size 11. As expected, it is sealed against dust and water and built with its enclosed cast steel housing featuring robust corrosion protection for harsh environments. The high braking torque range of up to 1,200 Nm also makes the ROBA-stop® S the first choice when reliable force is required. However, the new seawater brake does not just extend the series upward—it also brings significant improvements. Maintenance has become much easier: the rear of the housing is closed with a cover. For service interventions, such as a rotor replacement, only this cover needs to be opened. The heavy brake remains securely mounted. This makes maintenance easier, faster, and safer than ever before.
