mayr® power transmission expands its training program: New webinars from fall 2020
"Experts instead of experiments" – practice-oriented webinars on torque limiters and safety brakes
To make the movements of machines and systems safe – this is a central part of the mayr® power transmission company philosophy, and is expressed in the company's new web seminar series as well. „We have further developed our proven seminars in our new training centre ‘mayr.com’ and we offer now web seminars on the fundamentals of safety clutch and safety brake technology and web seminars at expert level on selected specialist topics“, explains Dr.-Ing. Benedikt Biechele, training coordinator at mayr® power transmission in Mauerstetten. "The first webinars already took place in July and the response was excellent. That's why we decided to expand the range of courses on offer."
New from fall 2020 are online events on selected specialist topics such as the many factors influencing the braking torque, the various options for electrical control and sensorless monitoring of brakes, and the guiding principle of achieving a high balance quality in shaft couplings and torque limiters. At the end of each presentation selected participant questions will be answered. „We developed the webinars independently of the Corona pandemic as an alternative to on-site seminars in order to provide our customers and employees worldwide with easier and more flexible access to our training and information offerings. Of course, the offer now fits in well with the rapidly changing communication channels“, Dr.-Ing. Benedikt Biechele adds.
The web seminars are aimed at specialists and managers, designers, developers and safety officers from the mechanical engineering industry and are held in English and German. The fall webinar series starts on 14 October and continues until 10 December 2020.
