EAS®-axial: The exact limitation of tensile and compressive forces

The EAS®‑axial is a positive-locking, disengaging torque limiter.

If a blockage occurs in the system (overload), the set release force is exceeded, and the EAS®‑axial disengages. The bolt shifts, and the control segments are pushed outwards. The rigid connection between element and bolt is removed.

A residual force of 15-20% of the set value remains. Re-engagement occurs automatically on restart through the withdrawal or pushback of the bolt into the original position.
