The ROBA®-brake-checker is a smart module for monitoring safety brakes. With it, you have the condition and function of the brakes constantly under control. The ROBA®-brake-checker works without sensors installed in the brake, does not affect the design and can be retrofitted without any problems. The switching device enables plannable maintenance, remote maintenance and maximum operational safety of your brake systems.

ROBA®-brake-checkers fit easily into existing systems and are suppliedready for installation. The control modules are also compatible with brake systems from other manufacturers.
Sensorless switching device ROBA®-brake-checker
The ROBA®-brake-checker supplies and monitors safety brakes without sensors. The ROBA®-brake-checker can thus be integrated subsequently at any time and does not require any special device. The function and condition of the brake are monitored by the ROBA®-brake-checker by analyzing armature plate, voltage and current(AmPnBsP). Wear, temperature and switching condition are constantly checked in order to be able to accurately assess all functions of the brake. If the switching device detects an abnormality or a defect, this is indicated by means of the optical interface and an evaluation program. The operator receives precise information and instructions from the display, e.g. "Wait within the next 4 weeks". In this way, wear and faults can be rectifiedquickly and effectively . With the ROBA®-brake-checker, remote maintenance is also possible in many cases.
