EAS® axial: The exact limitation of tensile and compressive forces

  • The force limiter for linear applications
  • High axial stiffness
  • Wide range of variants

The EAS® axial is a torque limiter for linear movements. As soon as the set release force is exceeded in either the tensile or compressive direction, the EAS® axial disengages and interrupts the power transmission. As a result, a more precise force limitation can be achieved - e.g. in crank mechanisms or cam-controlled feed drives - than with rotary torque limiters. Unnecessarily high dimensioning factors and oversized constructions can be avoided. The EAS® axial is also used in torque support structures, e.g. in gearbox construction.
