The ROBA® twinstop® is a redundant dual circuit brake for compact elevator machines in which both brake circuits clamp a rotor together. In contrast to the ROBA® duplostop®, both brake circuits are housed in one coil carrier - an advantage in terms of installation effort and cost-effectiveness. As a standard-compliant solution, it is mainly used for the European market, is largely temperature-resistant and enables switchless operation in combination with modern control systems.
The innovative metal damping has many advantages and is compatible among others with the sensorless monitoring module ROBA® brake-checker®.
