The ROBA®-linearstop is designed for use in linear movements. It can be used anywhere where a piston rod is in place or can be additionally attached. It prevents inadvertent dropping or crashing of axes under heavy gravitation load.
The ROBA®-linearstop hydraulic type 380.01_.0 is suitable both as a clamping unit and for EMERGENCY STOP braking.
Operating mode
The ROBA®‑linearstop hydraulic is a hydraulic safety brake.
In de-energized state, springs work on a clamping element. The piston rod is clamped.
When the required operating pressure is applied, the spring force is released. The piston rod can be moved.
