The ready-to-install safety brake module ROBA® topstop® is the easiest way of increasing the safety of vertical axes. The safety brake holds the load even when the motor has been removed. As the flange dimensions are adapted to match the servomotor and gearbox, it can be easily integrated or retrofitted. The design with integrated shaft coupling allows direct connection of the spindle. With appropriate requirements, the combination with another safety brake such as the ROBA® linearstop, ROBA® guidestop® or ROBA® pinionstop enables the easy implementation of a redundant, multi-purpose braking system.
mayr® validation aid documents provide machine manufacturers with essential information—beyond the standard B10d (MTTFD) safety values—required for validating the selected product in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13849-2.
