ROBA® DS couplings of the Type 9120 series are specially adapted for attachment to HBM/HBK torque transducers. Different designs and flexible combination options enable the integration of measurement flanges into virtually any test bench and drive configuration.

ROBA® DS disc pack couplings of the Type 9120 series are based on the proven steel version 9110 and 9210. Compared to the steel version, the outer diameter of the aluminum version is reduced by up to 10 mm, with mass and mass moment of inertia at 40% to 60% depending on design and size. This results in minimal parasitic loads and, together with the enhanced manufacturing quality, enables use at very high speeds. In addition, the aluminum version offers the same or higher torque performance data as the steel version and also provides corrosion protection. A suitable torque limiter is available with the EAS® HSE.​
