ROBA®-capping head: Capping heads for filling plants

The ROBA®‑capping head is a magnetic torque limiter in accordance with the hysteresis principle.

Magnetic forces transmit the torque limiter torque contactlessly and synchronously from the drive end to the output side. Following overload, the clutch slips, meaning that the drive and output sides move with relative speed, the so-called slip speed, in relation to one another. In case of overload, the clutch torque is equal to the set torque.
