En ROBA® DS se utilizan como elemento flexible varios paquetes de láminas optimizados por FEM, que están atornillados alternativamente en los lados de entrada y de salida del movimiento. Se trata de un acoplamiento extremadamente resistente y potente que, al igual que todos los acoplamientos para ejes de mayr®, no presenta holgura alguna y ofrece una elevada rigidez a la torsión.

ROBA® DS, nuestro acoplamiento para ejes más versátil, está disponible con diversos cubos y manguitos, en diferentes versiones y con diseños optimizados para cada aplicación; algunos ejemplos son ROBA® drive-checker® con medición de par, ROBA® DS para transductores de par o ROBA® DS para cargas pesadas, muy fácil de montar.
