ROBA® brake-checker®, (etkinleştirilen) emniyet frenlerinin izlenmesi ve opsiyonel beslenmesi için akıllı bir modüldür. Şalter dolabına kurulan bu modül, fren besleme hattındaki karakteristik akım ve gerilim eğrilerini analiz eder ve buradan işletim durumunu net bir şekilde belirler. ROBA® brake-checker®, mikro anahtarlar ve yakınlık sensörleri ile açılma izleme sensörü ve aşınma izleme sensörünün yerini almaktan çok daha fazlasıdır: ROBA® brake-checker®, ilave ölçüm büyüklüklerinin (ör. açma-kapatma süreleri, gerilimler ya da frenlerin bobin direnci) kaydedilmesi ile fren ve makinedeki karmaşık ilişkiler hakkında gelişmiş analizler ve sonuçlar elde edilmesini sağlar.
Sensörsüz bir izleme sistemi olarak, ROBA® brake-checker®'ın fonksiyonu ve güvenilirliği çevre koşullarından ya da emniyet frenindeki mekanik etkilerden etkilenmez. ROBA® brake-checker®'ın "plus" versiyonları, ROBA® multiswitch ya da ROBA® switch 24 V fonksiyonunu içerir ve böylece freni de besler.
