Slim brake for installation both in the A-bearing side and in the B-bearing side of servomotors and as a robot brake for installation in joints of lightweight robots.
Operation with overexcitation and power reduction.
The ROBA®-servostop® Lean is a closed-circuit, electromagnetic safety brake.
When the brake is closed, the rotor is held between the armature disk and the flange plate by the friction linings. When the current of the built-in solenoid is switched on, the magnetic field pulls the armature disk against the force of the springs to the coil carrier. The brake is released.
