Torque limiters – also known as overload clutches or torque limiting clutches – disconnect the input and output in the case of overload so that torques or forces in the drive line can only increase up to the intended value.

They reliably protect machines and systems from expensive overload damage. Torque limiters from mayr^® transmit torque essentially backlash-free.

We provide load-holding and load-separating torque limiters for numerous applications and fields, such as production plants, test benches, heavy-duty applications such as rolling mills or breakers, tunnel boring machines, or the food industry.
