Torsionally flexible shaft couplings not only reliably transmit input and output, but also have a rotation angle compensating and vibration damping effect. Elastomer couplings from mayr® power transmission use variable-hardness elastomer spiders made of polyurethane, in order to fully exploit the shock-absorbing effect of the torsionally flexible coupling. Shaft couplings of the torsionally flexible design are characterised by their design-friendly assembly. Some elastomer couplings are also plug-in and therefore suitable for blind assembly.
