Advantages of the mayr® DC drives:
Low-maintenance DC drives with protection class IP 54 and IP 65
Torque is not only reduced with mayr® DC motors and drives, but also transmitted in the high speed range. The design of the drives takes into account high loads that occur in some industries. Critical influences of the operating environment are countered by the DC drives through a closed construction, which is dust-protected, dust-tight, splash-proof and on request also water-tight (AmPnBsP). All components are adapted to the ordered protection class IP 54 or IP 65. IP 68 is also possible on request.
Direct current drives from mayr® power transmission: Adapted to all conditions
The heart of the mayr® DC drives is a permanent-magnet excited DC motor, whose speed remains almost constant even with changes in the load. This operating behaviour corresponds to that of shunt-wound motors, which provide constant speed with controllable torque.
In addition to their use as servo motors and servo drives, the permanent magnet drives from mayr® power transmission master numerous areas of application: Single- or double-sided plug-in shafts on the worm gearbox withstand high output torque while taking up little construction volume. DC drives can also be ordered with a compact planetary gearhead, which is preferably used in servo applications. Operational reliability and functionality are also ensured by the integrated Holding brake ROBA-stop® , which connects the permanent magnet motor and gear unit.
Servo drive by direct current: precise & long-life operation control
High operating requirements demand a high degree of specialisation in all operating areas: mayr® therefore equips DC drives with these mechanisms for regulation and control of the motor operated with direct current:
Different designs, speed ranges and characteristics are also possible for these versions. Configure DC drives with our specialists that are precisely tailored to your requirements and operating equipment.
