In this web seminar, you will learn important basics about explosion protection, e. g. the prerequisites for an explosion, the legal framework, ATEX zones, the marking of ATEX products and various types of ignition protection. We will then give you an overview of the potential ignition hazards of shaft couplings, safety clutches and safety brakes and how to avoid them.
Based on this, we will explain the mayr® philosophy with regard to ATEX applications and present our shaft couplings, safety clutches and spring-applied brakes with ATEX certification.
