Application

The ROBA^®-linearstop is designed for use in linear movements. It can be used anywhere where a piston rod is in place or can be additionally attached. It prevents inadvertent dropping or crashing of axes under heavy gravitation load.

The ROBA^®-linearstop pneumatic type 381.0 is designed as a clamping unit and is suitable for EMERGENCY STOP braking.

Operating mode

The ROBA^®‑linearstop pneumatic is a pneumatic safety brake.

In de-energized state, springs work on a clamping element. The piston rod is clamped.

When the required operating pressure is applied, the clamping element is pressed or pulled against the springs. The piston rod can be moved.
