The friction power parameters (slipping speed, slip time, and set torque) may not be exceeded in order to avoid overheating the friction linings of the torque limiter.
The ROBA® slip hub is a load-holding, inexpensive torque limiter that covers a wide torque range. Thanks to numerous designs and versions, the ROBA® slip hub is suitable for drives with sprockets, gear wheels or pulleys of all kinds. It can be adapted very easily to a wide range of drive conditions, e.g. to high slipping frequency and low torque or to low friction work and extremely high torque. The specially aligned friction linings ensure repeatable high switch-off accuracy and a long service lifetime.
The ROBA® contitorque is suitable for applications with high demands on torque accuracy and low torque levels.
