Shaft Mounted Brakes: Safety at every position

Shaft-mounted safety brakes from mayr® power transmission are designed for mounting on the drive shaft. The brakes are available for different mounting positions: On the A-bearing or B-bearing of an electric motor, between motor and gearbox, on gearbox shafts and other positions in the drive train. All shaft-mounted brakes operate according to the fail-safe principle. They are designed as holding brakes, but are suitable for emergency stops and, depending on the design, also for dynamic braking.
